Neat!

Thus far this is my favorite of your songs ^_^

If you don't mind too terribly, would you mind if I used this song in my groups game (it's not flash, we plan to make it a console game)?

If so please be aware that we aren't a professional game development group and all that. But we would put you in the credits, either by your username, Real name, or whatever else you'd want us to credit you as.

Thanks and be well ^_^

CassuTronic responds:

no not a problem at all and you can put me as the DJ name CassuTronic :D and a hint of the game would be nice ^^

Very impressive!

I like this very much, but i've a question: Have you decided what kind of techno your going to make?

cause if so awesome, I could listen to more stuff like this any day!

My only piece of critique would be the lead never changed. if there were lyrics i wouldn't have minded, but in this case the lead should have at least been dropped for a few measures to get rid of any sense of repetition.

I do have to agree

I give you a 7 not because that's what the piece as a whole deserves, but because it almost seems incomplete. There's a uniqueness to the song but it does adhere to a very common stereotype of a horror song.

If you but a beat behind it near the middle of the song to carry it over to the end rather than keep the same tone it'd have made it much better.

The song in my opinion stays the same the whole time. It's not much of a journey. And it's my philosophy that a song isn't just instruments or sounds being coordinated, but instead a song is a journey the artist takes the listener on.

But don't be discouraged by what I said, not by any means. You have a great potential to make great music if you just keep at it! Making music like i described is insanely hard, I can't really manage it myself :p

Keep composing! I'm off to check out more of your stuff!!

Wow This is definatley top-grade music

Amazing song again. I haven't heard you make much bad music. I think I've only heard one or two that I wasn't too fond of. While listening to this I had a creepy suspicion that you sound a lot like another artist in this piece.

So I listened to a lot of different artists that I listen to, and I couldn't figure it out, but on the bright side, I considered this song very good :D was a little short though >.>

Beyond the shortness altogether good. Keep it up man, you never know where you might end up!

DylanGlow responds:

Thanks a bunch, Light! If you ever figure out that artist let me know. XD I'm really glad you liked it! I get bored of songs relatively quickly when I'm writing 'em so I have a tough time keepin' 'em long and an even tougher time finishin' songs. Thanks again, I can always count on you to leave a review! ^_^

I absolutely loved this song

It's got aa laid back feel to it, but not to great degree. just enough so that you can listen to it while you're doing something, or while your just sitting around.

the only thing i really have to say is you could have used "that's right" a little bit more. the clip seemed a bit frail being used only twice. is frail the right word? i dunno... i hope you get what i'm saying though :p

Muahaha it's me again >:D

I liked the lyrics and all, but i'm addicted to drum and bass :p

I have to admit the -3 is because I'm really picky about techno/electronica/ect.

but I do have to give you props for all the neat stuff you did with this song.

this is kind of a cut and dry review...

DylanGlow responds:

Lol, hey man! Thanks for leavin' the review and the score! As a side note I really hate this song. XD I wanted to put some really idiotic lyrics on to a repetitive beat... y'know like Owl City. (God, I hate them. >.>) I'm more of a laid-back acoustic style guy. This was just fun to screw around with and get a feel for Autotune. XD Thanks again!

It's been a while since I gave your stuff a listen

I was looking through the reviews i've given, and i gave you some good reviews, and i foregot why. now i remember xD

btw don't take that as an insult, i'm extremely forgetful... for example: I forgot it was my birthday once because people were planning a surprise party. I flipped out for 3 reasons:

1.) didn't expect it (obviously)
2.) Had no clue why they were there
3.) none of them had a key... i still haven't figured out how they got in...

I'm too forgetful -.- but i digress.

GOOD MUSIC! ADD has it's effects...

The Actual Review:

I found this piece pretty enjoyable for several reasons, including but not excluded to: the laid-back feeling of the song in general, the purity of vocals.

I'm not sure if you intended this or not, but you had a bit of a chorused sound to the vocals. it had a nice effect on the song as a whole.

I listened to it a bit, and at certain points it seems like you could have added some percussion in there. Such as light maracas or something along those lines to convey a change, or transition. Just seemed a bit lacking at some parts, but all in all it's a great song.

I really have to commend you on your vocals. Kudos to you

I would've taken a point away for the percussion thing, but it just seemed to mean, because it really isn't that important really, really only mentioned it as food for thought.

10/10

DylanGlow responds:

Dude, you totally SHOULD have taken away a point for the percussion thing! Don't go easy on me! XD Unfortunately my recording studio is quite not up to par yet and I pretty much had a loud desktop computer, a 2 channel mixer, my $150 acoustic, and a Shure SM58 microphone available at the time. XD The "chorus" is actually the poor acoustics of my bedrooms shining vibrantly with a TCElectronics reverb plug in. I really appreciate the very long review and managing to make me actually laugh out loud with the bit about your surprise party. Thanks a bunch, man! I'm currently building a full studio for recording with much better equipment and plan on releasing a CD in the near future. I'll send one to you when I get 'em done if you want.

Thanks,
~Dylan ^_^
